paediatric dermatology - mole mappimg

The FotoFinder Dermoscope 11 is a complete imaging system for total body photography. It is an expert system for the early detection of malignant melanoma.

It analyses lesions according to clinically accepted prototype identification. Calculating a score for malignancy, the mole mapping system gives an immediate second opinion. The camera offers up to 70 time’s optical magnification. A specific conical shaped tube is used to identify lesions in difficult to see areas i.e. between the toes & fingers, therefore ensuring that no area is left unchecked.

The images are stored on an inbuilt database which identifies new or changed moles. The camera is totally controlled by the software so that optimum comparable images are automatically & unmistakably assigned to each patient.

The system is height adjustable so that you can create standardised total body photos by adjusting the camera position on the system.
